Written by a team of distinguished scholars in the fields of Chinese art and history, the book includes a novel examination of Han burial items in relation to burial belief, pictorial carvings, and funerary architecture.

This is a wonderfully esoteric exhibition catalog, suitable for reading in bed all day when there's a blizzard raging outside. Make a cup of green tea and enjoy. The articles are really good, and the Han Dynasty artifacts that illuminate the period are carefully chosen. It's a thumper, but worth the price.
